What to Know Before Your York Technician Visit
As part of the preparation process, all buyers are required to review and complete a set of documents before the technician visit can be scheduled.
Please take a moment to go through the attached checklist and any additional informational materials provided. These documents outline important steps and requirements to ensure everything is in order for your upcoming service.
Once you’ve reviewed the materials, please complete, sign, and return the necessary forms to us. After we receive your signed documents, we’ll forward them to the appropriate branch.
Important: The branch will reach out to you directly to arrange and confirm the technician visit. Availability dates are coordinated through the branch—we do not schedule these visits ourselves.

Summary of items required prior to York technician visit:
- unit installed with included isolator feet
- piping completed
- pressure gauges at inlet and outlet to determine pressure drop
- flow switch installed (dispersion type ships loose, to be mounted in your piping…see manual… we have attached 3 photos/clips from manual to assist)
- you have appropriate flow
- you have a Y strainer installed
- electrical main 3 phase power to unit
- The YVAA chillers also come with water box heaters option. See photo and pdf from manual. These require separate 115V single phase source.
- power on (“live”) to chiller for 24 hrs prior to arrival, so compressor heaters can be on
- heat load available so the technician can run chiller with load
