The new KCG-10 “10-ton” chiller is currently in production, with a lead time of 9–10 weeks.

This unit uses the newest r454b refrigerant which is accepted in all 50 states (R410a versions are still being made for slightly less cost, accepted in ~ 37 states…check with us)

This unit uses a standard scroll compressor. Digital scroll compressors are available for an upcharge.   

This unit utilizes R454B refrigerant for energy efficiency and contains a digital scroll compressor that will provide capacity control ranging from 20%–100%. This unit contains an internal air-cooled condenser and a brazed plate evaporator. The major and minor safety controls include pressure gauges and limit devices. Within the coolant circuit is a high-velocity centrifugal pump and U.V rated non-ferrous polyethylene reservoir that is insulated. The unit has a power coated steel frame, castors to make the unit moveable, is designed to install indoors, and is designed with NEMA 1 control for ease of use and easy access to the maintenance components.
